This page provides information on scholarships for international students who wish to enroll in a Master’s degree, as well as for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree from a French university.

1.Scholarships awarded by the French government

Information to be found on the Campus France website. The French Foreign Ministry awards many different scholarships to foreign students. 25% of these scholarships are directly financed by the Ministry in the framework of Eiffel (for Master's or Doctoral level studies) or Major programmes (for the best foreign students who have graduated from French high schools abroad). The rest are provided by France embassies abroad. Find out directly from the Campus France office for your country to learn which scholarship programmes you are eligible for.

	Eiffel Excellence Scholarship	France-Excellence Europa
Description	This scholarship program has a very low rate of acceptance. We only present very few applications.	Developed by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the "France Excellence Europa" scholarship program allows students from 26 European Union countries to obtain scholarships to study at the Master's level in a French institution of higher education.
Eligibility criterias	Only for students selected by our Partner institutions (and who are first of their class). Double-degree students.	* Be a national of one of the following 26 European Union member states: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden. * Students of French nationality, including bi-nationals, are not eligible for the program * Be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of the beginning of your stay in France * Be admitted to a French higher education institution in Master 1 or Master 2 * Not be the recipient of an Erasmus +, AUF or other French ministry scholarship.

2.Scholarships awarded by Grenoble INP-UGA

At UGA and Grenoble INP, several scholarship programs are available. You do not need to apply for a specific scholarship. When submitting your online application for a master’s programme, simply tick the box indicating that you wish to be considered for a scholarship. After the application deadline, professors will review the applications and nominate candidates to the scholarship committee. The selected students will be contacted from Mid-June to Mid-July 2026.

Description	The « Initiative d'Excellence » (IDEX) Université Grenoble Alpes is welcoming applications for the Master Scholarship program. Applications to this program are open to foreign students who apply to the Masters' programmes offered in Grenoble.	The PERSYVAL Labex program has just launched its call for applications for its scholarchip program for students applying to the second year Masters programs at Université Grenoble Alpes related to mathematics, applied mathematics, informatics, signal processing and automatics.	EFELIA has launched a scholarship program for attracting exceptional candidates in the second year (M2) of one of University Grenoble Alpes Master's degrees related to Artificial Intelligence.	MIAI Cluster offer excellence scholarships for both French and international students, designed to encourage and support outstanding academic paths in the field of artificial intelligence.	Cyberskills UGA aims to promote curriculum in cybersecurity. It offers two scholarships for excellent students per year.	The Faculty of Sciences of Université Grenoble-Alpes offers scholarship for students enrolled in a curriculum that deals with “transition”.

La tête dans les nuages (also called the AMI Cloud Scholarship) is the final merit-based grant available to students (8000€/year). The application process differs slightly from other scholarships: students must apply independently once they are enrolled in the program. The grant is paid after the student is officially registered at ING/UGA. Applicants to Master 1 and Master 2 MOSIG, as well as students in the engineering cycle at Ensimag or Polytech Info, are eligible to apply. Selection is based on academic excellence.
